I am drawn to the idea that we are made of stardust as is everything in our world and beyond and so we are all connected to all that is. As ancient art is bonded to the meaning of important facts of human life at that time in their sacred places, in the same way we are hooked up to endless streams of man made images and wander through our world peppered by incidents and images we cannot comprehend any more than the vast unknowns of the ancient world.
Sometimes it seems only the heart can best understand much of this or our response to our environment and so I feel expression of emotion key to my art and re-discovery of the inner heart. |
