I use formal techniques to create challenging, content-driven images, kinetic media and dance-based performance pieces.
I am interested in the explication of intellectual and emotional content through movement, preferring to alter the vocabulary of the movements performed to be descriptive as opposed to incorporating dialogue. I am also very interested in the formal blending of different dance styles with martial arts, folk and social dance traditions.
